Portable toilets and restroom trailers are available for rent across the U.S. However, they range widely in price, with the cost determined by the number and style of units ordered. Price also varies depending on rental length; the special event prices below include weekend or one-day rental. Typical costs:
• A standard portable restroom (non-flushing) rental typically costs $100 to $175 per weekend. An economic solution, these non-flushing toilets are common for sporting events and construction sites.
• A handicap accessible restroom (non-flushing) rental typically costs $150 to $250 per weekend. These units are larger and may or may not comply with ADA guidelines, and are also accessible for parents assisting younger children in the restroom.
• A fresh-water flushing toilet rental typically costs $150 to $375 per weekend. This may or may not include a sink, but will likely include a hand sanitizer pump. Among one of the cleanest restroom options, flushing toilets are a popular choice for weddings or business events.
• A deluxe portable restroom rental with multiple toilets may cost $1,000 to $4,500 per weekend. With cost varying by size, deluxe restroom trailers are popular for high-end weddings and special events where guests are made to feel like they’re entering an actual building instead of a single stall.
What should be included:
• Portable restrooms may come with or without sinks and a hand sanitizer pump may be included.
• Deluxe restroom trailers should include several sanitized toilets and/or urinals and hand-washing stations. Starting at two stalls each, some include separate facilities for men and women. With heat, A/C, lighted vanities, hot and cold water sinks and flushing toilets, deluxe trailers provide a VIP experience.
• Rental should include delivery, set-up and pickup after the event, as well as waste disposal.
• The provider will supply toilet paper and deodorizer in the toilet.
• When renting a portable sink, soap and paper towels should be included.
• Portable Toilets should accommodate around 90 to 100 uses each before disposal is needed. For long-term rentals, the service provider will regularly empty and sanitize the portable restrooms.
